Computation and hardware algorithms
Discrete algorithms and data structures for designing efficient computing architectures have been investigated. We are working to create a number of novel computer arithmetic algorithms that enhance the capability of today's information processing architectures. Our goal is to build a unified theory of discrete algorithms and data structures for high-speed computation and to apply it to various practical signal processing and computing problems. Also, software systems for computer-aided design of application-specific hardware algorithms have been developed on the basis of the state-of-the-art Hardware Description Language (HDL) platform.
